The front of Jane and Steven’s villa reflects the elegant modern-meets-heritage styling inside, with the striking dark hue of Resene Bokara Grey on the front doors contrasting with the classic villa colour combination of Resene Ecru White on the weatherboards, Resene Rice Cake on the trims and Resene Half Pravda on the veranda.

This open plan kitchen, living and dining area is located in the modern part of the villa where Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream graces the walls, ceiling and window trims.

Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream features on the kitchen cabinetry, walls and ceiling. When paired with pale wooden furniture, the modern Scandi style of the newer section of the villa really shines.

In the original part of the villa, Resene Quarter Thorndon Cream features on the walls with Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream on the ceilings, skirtings, doors and architraves. Traditional styling also features with cosy browns and ochres furnishings in hues similar to Resene Brown Sugar, Resene Dark Buff and Resene Calico.

In one of the bedrooms, the walls are painted in Resene Quarter Thorndon Cream with Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream on the ceiling and Resene Rice Cake on the windows. A darker pop of colour on the bed, in a hue like Resene High Tide, helps to bring the space into a more modern setting.

Resene Quarter Thorndon Cream also features on the walls in the master bedroom with Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream on the ceiling, skirting and architraves.

Jane and Steven wanted an elegant main bathroom and drew on traditional English-style for their final look. Resene Quarter White Pointer on the walls marries beautifully with the grey and cream flecked Spanish tiles. The ceiling is painted in Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream.

Sitting behind sliding doors painted Resene Quarter White Pointer in the main bathroom is the laundry, which is also painted in Resene Quarter White Pointer.
