Come to Kate’s colour workshop

24 May 2018

Christchurch colour-lovers have to chance to join interior stylist Kate Alexander and Resene for a one-off afternoon of bubbles and colour.

This is your chance to pick Kate’s brains about all things colour - like the often-asked ‘how do I choose the right white’ and importantly ‘how do I build a colour palette that fits with my home and belongings’.

Says Kate: “I’ll be showing examples from real houses where we’ve transformed spaces purely with the choice of paint colour and furnishings. This is an informal and intimate workshop. I encourage attendees to bring photos of a current project or space. We will have access to the full range of Resene swatches and there will also be a Resene colour expert on-hand to answer your technical questions.”

Kate runs her own interior styling business Places & Graces.  Her experience with colour and composition combined with a serious passion for mixing old and new, provides a unique approach to interior design. “Adding colour to your home is not just about going bright and bold or painting every surface in sight. When I create a colour palette for a home I start with what exists already.“

The free workshop will be held at the Resene ColorShop at Tower Junction, Christchurch, this Saturday, May 26, 3-4.30pm. Book by emailing [email protected].
