Kiwis know they can trust Resene paints – Resene has been named one of New Zealand’s Most Trusted Brands for the 11th year in a row. In the survey run by Reader’s Digest magazine, Resene was awarded the Most Trusted Paint Brand, and was also the 8th most trusted brand overall in the annual awards which includes hundreds of brands across 75 categories.

Survey respondents commented that Resene’s range and inspiration guides were some of the things they like the most about the brand. "Only good things to say here; our whole house is painted inside with this paint and we love it!” one female respondent in Canterbury said.

Another from Auckland commented on Resene’s service: "A great range in selection and helpful staff. Easy-to-read information and inspiration guides that you can take home. With new colours and tones, from prep and prime to paint to different finishes, Resene has it all.”

Resene first started in a Wellington garage in 1946 when builder Ted Nightingale mixed up a product to cover the concrete buildings he made at the time.  Now over 75 years later, Resene paint is still made in Wellington, just a few minutes’ drive from the original garage.  And it’s still Kiwi owned with Nick, Ted’s grandson, carrying on the family paint making tradition.
