When is a switch plate not a switch plate? When it’s a combination of clever ideas and good looks, as with the Iconic® range from PDL. Iconic has a modular design so it’s easy to update, there’s a version with a USB port (pictured) and another one with a shelf on which to perch your phone while it charges. Some of the plates in the range incorporate sensor night lights, some have back-lit switches for easy accessibility in low light and others have pictograms so you get the right switch first time. There is also a new range of skins called Iconic® Styl, so you can customise the look of the switch plate with three different on-trend anodised aluminium finishes to suit your décor – the one pictured is Silver Shadow.
