Forever losing your car keys and have no place to stash your post? This stunning entrance way mirror-organiser will impress guests upon arrival as well as keep things organised. Oh, and did we mention you can make it yourself?

You will need:

• Resene testpots in your choice of colours; we used Resene Yes Please and Resene Moby
• Resene paint brushes
• Medium sized framed mirror – ours measured 300mm x 400mm
• 3 x equal sized pieces of ply, cut to same length as bottom of mirror. These will form the box
• 3 x square ply pieces, cut to width of the long ply piece – these will form the ends and middle of the box
• Thin MDF piece that fits the back of the mirror and box once placed together
• Wood glue
• Screws, hooks and drill
• Coat hooks (optional)

Step one Paint the mirror in Resene Yes Please. Leave to dry.

Step two Nail the three square pieces together to form the main frame of the box.

Step three Nail the end and middle pieces to complete the box.

Step four Paint the outside of the box in Resene Yes Please.

Step five Paint the inside of the box in Resene Moby.

Step six Once dry, attach the coat hooks to the front of the box.

Step seven Drill the MDF frame to the back of the mirror.

Step eight Flip it over and glue the box to the MDF frame underneath. Leave to dry overnight.

Step nine Attach hanging hooks to the back of the MDF frame. Your entryway mirror is now ready to hang.
