Create an enlightening sign for your little one to light up their life The best part? It glows in the dark, with the help of Resene FX Nightlight.

You will need:

• Popsicle sticks
• Craft glue
• Colourful string
• Resene paint brushes
• Resene testpots in your choice of colours - we used Resene Licorice and Resene White (using Resene White as the basecoat will give the best glow effect)
• Resene FX Nightlight
• Artist brushes, stencil or stickers to create lettering and stars

Step one: Place the popsicles vertically in a row to create a rectangle, shape of the sign.

Step two: Glue two popsicle sticks horizontally across to secure the vertical sticks, Tuck the string underneath to make a hanger.

Step three: Paint a base coat in Resene White.

Step four: Once dry, apply Resene FX Nightlight. Leave to dry.

Step five: If you’re feeling confident, hand write or draw your message onto the sign Alternatively use a stencil or stickers. Paint Resene Licorice over the remaining sign for a high-contrast effect.

Step six: Once dry, remove the stickers to reveal the white lettering. It’s now ready to hang up!
