Rugby legends come to the Clubhouse Rescue

01 Feb 2023

Follow along former All Blacks and reno rookies Stephen Donald and Israel Dagg as they makeover and transform community sports’ clubs from old to gold in a new television series, Clubhouse Rescue.

Premiering on Bravo from this Friday 3rd February at 7.30 pm NZDT, Clubhouse Rescue is a reality series showing rugby legends coming together to help grassroots sport clubs around the country desperate for a makeover. Dynamic duo Dagg and Donald are joined by an expert makeover team including interior designers Hamish Dodd and Catherine Portland, and project manager Dean Larritt.

Local sports clubs are at the heart of the community, bringing families together and have often been the starting point for many international sportspeople. But often these clubs have seen better days, so the rescue team is here to breathe new life back into the run-down walls and keep the legacy alive for the next generation of sporting greats.

The series kicks off at the Hibiscus Coast Football Club, the main hub for the coastal football community. Currently in a state of disrepair including doorless changing rooms, the reno team come in with a goal to make it an inviting space for the growing female membership, reviving the much-loved club with a super transformation and plenty of Resene paint.

Catch the first episode of Clubhouse Rescue on Bravo at 7:30pm on Friday 3rd February.
