School up on design

15 Mar 2017

For those looking to embark on a career in interior design, the Nanette Cameron School of Design is now open for its semester two enrolments.

With a focus on the principles of interior design for everyday living, the Auckland-based school has two modules available for its next semester: Design Principles & Living Spaces, and The Wonderful World of Textiles. The courses start on 2 May.

The school was founded by Nanette Cameron, a trail blazer in New Zealand interior design; such is her contribution to the design community, she was given a Queens Service Medal in 2013, and a Resene Total Colour Lifetime Achievement award the same year.

In 1967, Nanette started teaching courses on interior design, and her school continues today at Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts. To enrol and find out more about the courses on offer, visit www.ncsid.co.nz.
