Herringbone is a look that will never go out of trend. We applied the pattern to create these stylish placemats, perfect for outdoor entertaining.
You will need:
Step one. Paint the placemats in Resene Half Athens Grey and leave to dry.
Step two. Use the tape to mask out the herringbone pattern as seen here.
Step three. Paint onto the placemats using your chosen Resene colours. Before the paint dries completely, remove the masking tape.
Step four. Once dry, apply a coat of Resene Aquaclear. This will protect the placemats.
Step five. Your guests will be delighted with your stylish herringbone placemats.
Top tip: Vary your colour combinations to suit your dining décor. Think deep reds and jewel colours for winter and summery yellows and blues for the warmer months.
