Christine’s handy homemade bag holder

We love hearing about the crafty projects our readers are undertaking at home, and we were particularly impressed by Christine’s nifty bag holder.

Using three recycled Resene bags, Nelson-based Christine sewed them together at the top and put a dowel rod through the straps lopped over the back. “It works very well and tidies up my corner,” she shares.

Upcycling and recycling is the way forward and we commend Christine’s clever idea to keep her house in order and make use of Resene’s bags.

Christine sewed three Resene bags together and put the back straps through a dowel rod – a great way to keep your shopping bags in one place.

Shawny selects a striking shade

Shawny (@shawnysophiaofficial) has been busy with her house flip and chose dramatic Resene Teal Blue for her lounge walls, which make a great backdrop for her gallery wall and vintage sideboard.

Lee’s full spectrum treatment

Another reader, Lee, jazzed up some plain peg dolls and repainted a dull, pastel rainbow stacker toy with bright Resene testpot colours to match. Resene Get Reddy, Resene Orang-atan, Resene Bright Spark, Resene Wham, Resene Resolution Blue, Resene Deep Koamaru and Resene Pukeko were just the right colours for this cute colour combo.
