Create this rustic potting shed
Create this country-style potting shed setting using dreamy grey blue tones, accented with some lively greens.
These lovely old barn-style doors are our backdrop. They’ve been given a coat of Resene Rock Salt stain to give them a blonded effect. The timber floor is made of decking, which has been finished in Resene Limed Ash.
You could either use a workbench in your potting shed, or this lower bench seat provides good setting down space. It’s finished in Resene Wishlist, a fresh aquamarine blue.
We’ve given the timber tool handles a lift with various colours – Resene Wimbledon and Resene Kakapo – and used stripes in Resene Half Duck Egg Blue and Resene Wishlist for the smaller tools.
And if you’re proud of your garden produce, how about potting up a plant, and giving it away as a gift? We’ve made a potato print wrapping using Resene Wimbledon, and then tied it with twine.
Add some Resene stirring sticks painted in Resene Blackboard Paint to use as plant markers, and you have a crafty gift for any foodie or garden lover.
