The Resene Architecture & Design Film Festival is back, bringing top films about architecture, design and gardening to screens across the country.

Rialto Cinemas, in association with Resene and Clearly & Co, will host the festival in Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin and Christchurch, starting from next month.

Now in its fourth year, the festival includes Conversation Sessions at selected screenings, held by the NZ Institute of Architects.

Also on the cards at each location is an opening night screening of Bernardes, a documentary of the Brazilian architect and mid-century design star Sergio Bernardes. A glass of wine and nibbles is included with every ticket.

Other movies showing this year include Who Dares Wins: Zaha Hadid, Gray MattersMicrotopia and Architect Athfield.
