Balloons over Wairarapa

This year's Wairarapa Balloon Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever! 

Held 12-15 March, with Resene as sponsor, the region wide event will be host to majestic hot air balloons, fun competitions and even a kid's pirate-themed treasure hunt.

Watch out for Peg Leg Pete the Pirate Parrot (try saying that quickly three times!), a bright and brilliant hot air balloon visiting from the USA, which will join a flotilla of other spectacular balloons in the Wairarapa. 

And don't miss out on the Trust House Night Glow Show, a magical evening of glowing hot air balloons lighting up the skies.
