Colour-block your drawers

Jane Wigglesworth from Sweet Living magazine took to an old chest of drawers with a range of Resene paints to create this pretty, multi-coloured piece – perfect for a girl’s room or to lift an otherwise plain interior.

Jane chose five colours in all, one colour each for the drawers and a white (Resene Eighth Thorndon Cream) to frame them. The drawers, from the top down, were painted in: Resene Highlight; Resene Cosmic; Resene Lola; and Resene Matterhorn. She used three coats to give the drawers a fabulously professional finish.
