This quirky bathroom was a stand that won bronze at the recent Waikato Home Show. Created by Eucalyptus Design & Interiors and sponsored by Mico Design, the concept was for a bach bathroom that delivered unexpected artistic surprises. Recycled timber palettes were bleached to echo the look of pohutukawa bark and driftwood, while a living plant wall softens the concrete walls. To give a truly modern edge, bold street art inspired foliage was painted in Resene paint across the floor and up on to the vanity. The Kohler products seen here are from the Toobi tapware range and a Chalice basin. The bathroom is being rebuilt at the Kohler Design Centre, 65-73 Parnell Rise, Auckland.
