Emerging colour trends in stone

26 Jun 2014

Engineered stone company ROXX has launched four forecast palettes to help homeowners stay ahead of the latest trends. Each ROXX range also comes with complementary colour suggestions from Resene. The four new palettes are:

Vintage Pastel which uses primary colours, softened with bright pastels.  A touch muted, this palette harks back to a different time.

Earth & Industry (shown) inspired by mines and machines, is gritty, raw and ore with dusky plum hues, sullied corroded greens, charcoal and grey.

Babylon Treasure has the lusciousness and richness of yesteryear, reminiscent of the knights and ladies of Westeros. It features muted oranges and blushing coral, ox blood, gold damask and chocolate.

Colonial Heritage is pure, raw and natural without being harsh, using a blend of organic creams, sandstone, shadowy blues, lilacs, gentle greys and plum.

Roxx is a 6mm stone made from quartz and granite, perfect for hard-wearing benchtops. See www.roxx.co.nz for the full range.
