We can’t get enough of these colourful pots painted in the Resene Paint a Pot Challenge. The winners of this NZ Gardener and Resene competition came from four different age categories and their colourful creations showcased a wide range of Resene hues.
A colourful creature that catches the eye, painted in Resene Zoop De Loop, Resene Bright Spark, Resene Glitterbug and Resene Japanese Laurel.
Amos Horsham’s dinosaur won in the 0-5 age group. At only two years old, this clever boy from Carterton really got his hands stuck into the Resene paint to give this brachiosaurus some brilliance.
This wonderful machine was painted with Resene Avocado, Resene Nero, Resene Bondi Blue, Resene Bottle Green and Resene Merino for the background.
The winner of the 6-10 age group was nine-year-old Jack Taylor from Christchurch. Jack did such a great job painting a Land Rover on his pot and the colours he chose were the driving force of his design. We might have an artist in the making here! You can paint your own 4x4 by choosing any Resene colours of your choice, what a great rainy day activity for kids.
Bayleigh’s butterfly mural is painted with Resene Cornflower, Resene Paris Daisy, Resene Japanese Laurel, Resene Hopscotch, Resene Curious Blue, Resene Daisy Bush, Resene All Black and Resene Black White.
What a beautiful butterfly created by Bayleigh Cornelissen from Darfield. 14 year old Bayleigh is clearly an accomplished artist taking out the win in the 11-15 age group. You can paint a rainbow of colours yourself by choosing some Resene testpots of your choice.
This beautiful lady in red is painted in Resene Candy Floss, Resene Smitten Pink, Resene White, Resene Barnstorm and Resene Black.
In the 16+ age group, Robyn Wren from Rotorua painted a ‘Lady in Red’ using multiple sized pots and accessories. Create your own pot person like this with some string, beads, buttons and Resene paints of your choice.
