Learn to use colour and texture

25 May 2016

Texture is big in the eyes of interior stylists at the moments... and paint effects specialist Greer Clayton has her finger on the pulse, offering a workshop next month on creating texture and colours on terracotta pots.

Join Greer as she shows you how to use colour and texturing paint to get that grunty concrete look. You'll also get the chance to experiment with colourwash effects on pottery, and take home your own pot at the end of it.

The workshop is part of the Vauxhall Exhibition of Fine Art, a full weekend of workshops and art exhibits. VEFA will showcase work from more than 120 artists and sculptors, including glass, ceramics, sculpture, photography and paintings, from 10-12 June at its venue in Auckland’s Devonport.

To secure your tickets for the workshop, and for more information, visit www.vefa.co.nz.
