Make a fun play tent

13 Apr 2016

The school holidays are here, and if the weather turns nasty you’ll need some projects to keep the kids occupied indoors.

Give the kids a place to retreat to. This simple tent is made out of battens, dowel and a piece of fabric covered in stars, painted in Resene Smiles. Use any leftover fabric to make cloud-shaped bunting to attach to the tent frame. Click here to see the video. The kids will love helping to make it, and love playing in it.

Extra tip: Use the tent to camp out indoors. Slip a single mattress in the end, and it becomes a star-studded bed canopy.
