Reader project: alternative Christmas tree

When reader Colleen saw our pallet wood Christmas tree on Facebook, she immediately posted her own DIY tree. Being allergic to real trees, she likes to put up an alternative each year...  this year's one is made of sawn pallets and painted using Resene testpots.

Colleen is in the renovation process, and has Resene testpots of colours she likes. She's used leftover paint on the Christmas tree... with any luck, it will be perfectly colour co-ordinated to the rest of the house come next Christmas. 

The tree is painted in Resene Stack, while the decorations are painted in Resene Double Foundry, Resene Quarter Stack and Resene Pohutakawa. It sits on the deck where the family does most of their summer living.
