If you're the adventurous type and looking for a fun activity for the whole family, look no further than the New Zealand Home Loans XRACE.

XRACE is a mystery adventure race where parent and child aged 6-14 race together, locate and complete 10 mystery challenges, including a Resene paint challenge, and race the clock – with the fastest and luckiest crowned XRACE champion.

Teams start together, race the course together challenging other family teams – completing all challenges and crossing their magical finish line – side-by-side. It's like a board game brought to life – think The Amazing Race meets Monopoly.

You don't have to be super fit or super sporty, as the challenges cater to all skills. A typical XRACE course covers around 3-4 kms of total distance, and teams can choose to go flat out or walk or jog between challenges. There will be some physical challenges, technical, mental and creative.
