Ruby’s new tea towel design for Wallace Cotton is a sweet treat

Ruby Seeto’s fourth tea towel design with Wallace Cotton is a refreshing and delicious recipe for her Starship Spritzer – a fizzy and fun drink of honey, lavender and lemon to enjoy on a warm spring day.

Ruby’s fun design features the Starship Spritzer in the fun hues of lemon and lavender, similar to Resene Quarter Moonbeam and Resene Wonderland.

In 2006, Ruby was diagnosed with a rare cancer and had a major surgery to remove a 1.6kg tumour from her liver. She spent 12 months in Starship undergoing intensive treatment. Now, with a double major in Commerce and Design, Ruby has been designing tea towels with Wallace Cotton to help raise money for Starship Children’s Hospital. And so far, she’s helped raise over half a million.

Her designs are always fun, colourful and feature a favourite recipe. This year, it’s the Starship Spritzer in the inviting hues of lemon and lavender, similar to Resene Quarter Moonbeam and Resene Wonderland.

With every tea towel purchased, $6 is donated to the Starship Children’s Hospital. This year, proceeds from Ruby’s new Starship Spritzer tea towel will go towards equipment for the Heart Ward.
