Spotted on Instagram, reader Katrina turned a rundown wall unit into a stylish piece of furniture.

Get the look by using a white paint such as Resene Black White for the base, and use masking tape and a contrasting colour to create the pattern – Katrina used Resene Allport for the blue. See the before photo of the unit on her Instagram page @kash.10514.
