Wine, whiskey… and green building

What better way to spend a Thursday evening that finding out more about the residential green building sector, listening to jazz and drinking wine or whiskey? The EnviroSpec Seminar Series is for homeowners, builders, architects and suppliers to learn more about Homestar, the national environmental certification programme for homes, to gain tips on how to achieve a good rating, and to discover new products. It’s also a networking opportunity for industry professionals. Auckland’s opening event is next Thursday, May 30, at the very cool Nathan Club, Britomart, with its antique wooden floors, exposed brick walls and ceiling beams.
