Bold and brave, make sure you don’t miss Auckland Design Week

On Friday 15th and Saturday 16th March, Auckland Design Week ticketholders will travel through 18 partner venues across three Design Districts (Grey Lynn, Parnell, Mt Eden/Uptown) on designated event transport to experience feature installations that blend various design disciplines to create a dynamic and immersive experience for you, the ticketholder – all while showcasing the prowess of the design community.

The Pocketspace team have started their Resene art installation at 159 Design for Auckland Design Week showcasing palette selections from the Resene The Range fashion colours and the James Dunlop La Palma custom print.

Take the challenge

Four Bold and Brave artists will be taking the Resene Colour Challenge and painting LIVE on 11am - 3pm Friday 15th March & Saturday 16th March at Signature Floors, 15 Bath Street, Parnell.

Meet the artists:

  • Roberta Queiroga- 2023 Auckland Spotlight Artist and Finalist
  • Mountain Duck- 2023 Auckland Spotlight Artist and Finalist
  • Maria Owens- 2023 Auckland Spotlight Artist and Finalist
  • Liam Downes- 2022 Christchurch Champion

The artists will be responding to four challenges per day with colours inspired by the Signature Floors and Resene colour range. Watch them paint live and share tips and techniques. Plus you can even buy the artwork that is created.

Take the challenge and put your name in the hat and nominate yourself to be a wildcard artist. Or just watch and enjoy the colourful works take shape.

Auckland Design Week has partnered with furniture, interiors and product showrooms to provide a stage for designers spanning various disciplines – spatial, architectural, interiors, product, fashion and more – to showcase their work in a distinctive and engaging way.
