June's hue: Embrace the serenity of Underbrush

09 Jun 2025

Color Marketing Group (CMG) have announced the latest hue that expresses the month of June and it’s the perfect nature-inspired, cosy shade. We’ve got just the designs to show you how to incorporate it in your next project with Resene paints and wallpapers.

Underbrush: Infused, eco-conscious and regenerative

Underbrush is a muted, organic hue that evokes eco-harmony and biophilia, making it an ideal choice for interior design projects focused on sustainability and connection with nature. This balanced colour, with its blend of green and yellow, offers a grounded, neutral appearance that brings subtle warmth and serenity to spaces. Perfect for both residential and commercial environments, including family rooms, wellness centres, and healthcare settings, Underbrush creates a calming, regenerative atmosphere.

Its soft matte finish complements a variety of design aesthetics, while its versatility allows for dynamic pairings with muted tones like coral, soft lilac, or pale blue for a more nature-inspired palette. This timeless hue can be used as a neutral backdrop or transformed with metallic finishes for added depth, making it suitable for a wide range of interiors looking to embrace natural beauty and sustainability.
