Product of the month: Resene FX Metallics and special effects

If your client isn’t sure what they want, perhaps it’s an enchanting allure of gold, a futuristic charm of silver or a rich depth of bronze.

Beyond the traditional metallic tones, you’ll also find some contemporary shades like iridescent blues, greens and coppers. These unique colours produce a mesmerising shimmer that shifts as light dances across the surface and are sure to make any project unique.

If it’s small touches you’re looking to add, try a wall mural or simple painted design like this fiery chain link. With the wall painted in a deep, rich blue of Resene Tangaroa, the painted links in Resene FX Metallic paint tinted to Resene Copper Fire pop off the wall with a shimmering 3D effect. While the metallic colours shine remarkably on their own, they also play well with others. You can experiment with blending metallic shades with Resene's wide array of standard paint colours, enabling them to achieve captivating custom hues that perfectly complement any interior scheme.

Resene FX Metallic finishes can be used outside too, reflecting the sun in the metallic flake for a delightful dancing light effect.
