DIY: window bench with storage

Window benches are a great place to catch the sun and enjoy a good book, and can be handy for using as storage space underneath.

Jarrod Rendle, father and contributor to parenting website Kiwi Families, was inspired to make his own and has shared these easy instructions on how to do it yourself.

The finished result is featured above painted in Resene Half Sea Fog to tie in with the walls of his home. We love the colour combo of the blue velvet, natural fibre weave boxes and white bench frame.
