03 Mar 2023
If you’re sick of placing sticky dog bowls on the kitchen floor, try making your own colourful dog eating station to keep things neat and tidy! You can match the colour to your home interior for a cohesive look and feed your pets in style.
What you need:
- 12mm plywood, cut to 113cm long, 39cm deep and 12cm high
- Jigsaw
- Screws
- Dog bowls
- Resene testpot paints in a colour of your choice, we used Resene Rivergum.
NOTE: These measurements are what fitted under our console table and can be adjusted to suit your console size and your bowl size.
Step 1: To make this dog eating station take a piece of 12mm ply wood and cut it to 113cm long, 39cm deep and 12cm high.
Step 2: Cut two holes using a jigsaw to put the metal bowls into, ours were 21cm in diameter. Cut two end pieces to make the legs, ours were 12cm high and 39cm long. Screw these pieces into the main long piece of ply.
Step 3: Paint the eating station in two coats of your chosen Resene paint colour, we used Resene Rivergum.
Wall painted in Resene Silver Chalice.
