Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in New Zealand and Australia that commemorates those who served and died in war, lest we forget. These three easy DIYs will help you honour this day, as well as the soldiers and their families.
A poppy garden
Brighten up your fence line this Anzac Day. You can upcycle these poppies after ANZAC Day and turn them into other flowers by painting them in Resene Blue Bell and Resene Sunflower to colour your winter garden or store them and reuse them for ANZAC Day next year.

Seashell poppies
Brighten up your wall, fence or home with these seashell poppies. They make a beautiful addition to a garden at any time of the year too painted in Resene Poppy and Resene Black or store them to bring out each year.

ANZAC wreath
Try making this painted DIY ANZAC wreath to hang on your door and show your appreciation. This is also a great project you can do with kids over the holidays and while you are busy painting and gluing you can talk to them about Anzac Day and remembering those who served.
