Emerging talent

09 May 2013

A key part of the popular Ellerslie Flower Show is to encourage students of landscape design and horticulture. This year, Justine Carey and Tenille Picket of Lincoln University used Resene Ebony Clay paint to backdrop their display garden, called A Transforming Garden as part of the Emerging Designs – Student Designer of the Year category. The design aimed to create a rooftop garden for a young, modern professional, with a bias towards a 'female' inspired space and to allow total flexibility, so that it could keep pace with the owners' lifestyle. The garden received a Merit Award.
