What do you do with recycled paint can lids? Well, if you are a clever designer like Nicole Linnell from Wellington, you make them into a stunning dress. Entered into the World of Wearable Arts last year and called Rise From the Ruins, the outfit uses paint can lids returned to the Resene PaintWise recycling service (visit www.resene.co.nz/paintwise.htm). Now, what clever things could you make out of the cans themselves…?
